Reclaiming wash water is not new. Reclaiming ALL wash process water and rinsing with reclaim.............is. You save water AND reduce costs. It's easy to do. We have extensive experience with every wash process: touchless, friction, self-serve, etc. Within the past few years, more and more attention has been given to water in carwashing due to environmental
and cost factors. One of the ways our industry has responded is by improving filtration technology for reclaimed wash process water. These
improved filtration systems can filter wash water to remove suspended solids, but cannot remove total dissolved solids (TDS). Up to now this
has made the use of fresh water necessary in the application of drying agents and final rinsing. Annford
has developed chemistry that will lower your TDS, allow the use
of reclaim water with drying agents, and lower your fresh water requirment to just a final rinse. If you have RO spot free rinse, you may be able to use reclaim as well.
